King City will be honoring its retiring fire chief today. Chief George Young will be honored in a ceremony prior to this evening’s city council meeting. Young has been fire chief for the past 5 years, and has been a volunteer fire fighter for 31 years. The event starts a 5:30 p-m at cit council chamber. The community is encouraged to attend.
