A series of community meetings are slated for King City in an effort to help reduce the city’s operating budget. Officials will allow residents to decide and prioritize what services they want, and how much they’re willing to pay for them in an attempt to cut $150,000 from it’s 5-million dollar general budget fund. A total of 6 meetings are slated, the first to be held next Thursday night at City Hall. Residents are expected to vote on their priorities of services in order to expedite the process.
