Here is Kay Zwerling: Because Global Warming is a myth, and Al Gore is making political points to influence the forthcoming national election, I believe it is timely to do an encore of my commentary broadcast last July 28, 2006.The liberals and other gullibles all are accepting this nonsense, and isn?t it fascinating how a non-truth, repeated often enough, becomes believable. Shades of World War Two, when Hitler floated outrageous lies repeated so often that most people came to believe them. And here it is ? About the recent commentary on Global Warming, there were no definitive answers, only my pragmatic suggestion that we should clean up our world environment no matter what. There were a number of very knowledgeable gentlemen listeners, all scientists, who all responded to me and who based on their extensive research, agreed that Global Warming does not exist. At least one believes it is a political myth fostered by the Democrats. His following letter is fascinating for its comprehensive coverage on the issue. So, having the author’s permission to read it on KSCO, here it is. I have added more relevant issues to this letter. ?Hi Kay, I had a chance to meet you at the Veterans? meeting on Flag Day. I am a Hungarian plumber, electrician, international tour guide, I speak six language, and I am an inventor, etc., and a solid listener to Rush. About Global Warming ? the pro Kyota Agreements supported by the Euro commies and international liberals was never ratified by the Congress during Clinton’s time. It was voted down 100 to nothing, yet the liberal media keeps on bugging Bush for not signing it. He had nothing to do with it. But, the massive liberal brainwashing machine never mentions this vital information. Clinton and Gore had a major defeat on this potential economic suicide. The European Union commies wanted to reduce our economy using this insane Kyoto Agreement to close down hundreds of factories so their European Union economy could be more competitive with ours. They are using the Global Warming scare tactics as a disguised economic attack against the U.S. Bush would not sign it because the world’s worst polluters, China and India, were exempt from cleaning up their pollution. See what a conniving joke this is. And, now Al Gore is getting a peace prize for his documentary called An Inconvenient Truth, which more honestly should be called A Convenient Lie. Remember, the Chinese, Indian, or Mexican smoke is okay for the liberals, only the capitalist smoke bothers them. They just can?t stand the fact that we can live better than the socialist masses. My old friend for over 25 years, from Belgium, doesn?t talk to me anymore since he found out that I voted for Mr. Bush. I?m sad that the basic liberal hateful poisons lost me my friend. What really affects our climate is the sun, volcanoes, and all natural forces. The ozone hole has disappeared by itself. There are periods of sunspot activities, and we had several ice ages, and all the snow and ice had melted away before the first Ford assembly line got into operation, or before the tree huggers got their worthless diplomas from Berkeley. Your a.m. show and Rush have more valuable information than I can get elsewhere. So, stay in good health, Kay, and I?ll keep on listening.Signed: Zoltan Egeresi? The unknown person who wrote the following is surely a member of my generation, and surely is also a keeper. I grew up with practical parents who had been frightened by The Great Depression in the 1930s. A mother, God love her, who washed aluminum foil after she cooked in it, then re-used it. She was the original recycle queen before they had a name for it. A father who was happier getting old shoes fixed than buying new ones. Their marriage was good. Their dreams focused. Their best friends lived barely a wave away. I can see them now, Dad in his trousers, T-shirt and hat, and Mom in a house dress, lawnmower in one hand and dish towel in the other. It was the time for fixing things, a curtain rod, the kitchen radio, screen door, the oven door, the hem in a dress, things we keep. It was a way of life, and sometimes it made me crazy. All that repairing, eating, renewing -- I wanted just once to be wasteful. Waste meant affluence. Throwing things away meant you knew there would always be more. But, then my father died, and on that clear Fall night in the warmth of the hospital room, I was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn’t anymore. Sometimes what we care about most gets all used up, and goes away, never to return. So, while we have it, it’s best we love it, and care for it, and fix it when it’s broken, and heal it when it’s sick. This is true for marriage, and old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs and cats with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they’re worth it, because we are worth it. Some things we keep, like a best friend that moved away, or a classmate we grew up with. There are just some things that make life important, like people we know who are special, and so we keep them close. I received this from someone who thinks that I’m a keeper, so I sent it to people I think of in the same way. Now it’s your turn to send this to those people who are keepers in your life. Send it back to the person who sent it to you, if they too are a keeper. Good friends are like stars -- you don’t always see them, but you know they’re always there. Keep them close. This one is called Awesome Senior -- the story is told by a government employee who allegedly witnessed a recent interaction between an elderly woman and an anti-war protester in a metro station in Washington DC. There was a protester on the train platform handing out pamphlets on the evils of America. I politely declined to take one. An elderly woman was behind me getting off an escalator, and a young 20-ish female protester offered her a pamphlet which she politely declined. The young woman put her hand on the old woman’s shoulder, and in a very soft voice said Lady, don’t you care about the children in Iraq? The old woman looked up at her and said Honey, my father died in France during World War II. I lost my husband in Korea, and a son in Viet Nam. All three died so that you could have the right to stand here and badmouth our Country. If you touch me again, I’ll stick this umbrella up your (beep) and open it. God bless America. Here is Kay Zwerling: Once in a while, a truly delightful gem floats around, and this one, every politically concerned American can relate to. Remember, even in the most stressful moments, a bit of humor makes a situation more bearable. With respect to the illegals in our midst, and the decisions our lawmakers are about to make which will decide the direction of our nation for decades to come, this is one such lighter moment. While this letter was sent several months ago, the perks offered to illegals have even increased. This could have been suggested by any sick-and-tired American citizen in any one of the United States to his or her federal representative. It is a great idea. Here it goes: It’s to The Honorable Paul Sarbanes of Maryland.Dear Senator Sarbanes, As a native of Maryland, and an excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien, and they referred me to you. My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. citizen to illegal alien, stems from the Bill which was recently passed by the Senate, and for which you voted. If my understanding of this Bill’s provision is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine, and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one, and I’m anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out. Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year, so I am excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in the past few years. Additionally, as an illegal alien, I could begin using the local Emergency Room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year. Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school application as well as in-state tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States, and I have to pay all her bills. Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me, given that I still have college-age children driving my car. If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively, of course) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative. Thank you for your assistance. Your loyal constituent, Paul McLachlan Get your forms NOW. Call your Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-289-1040. For KSCO and KOMY, this is Kay Zwerling. Copyright 2007

Here is Kay Zwerling: If the Democrats win in 2008, you can kiss good-bye to the Country which our Forefathers created. In the past, the rule of law, and the Constitution prevailed. In the past, it was the American citizen who was considered foremost. Now, it’s the illegals that the Democrats defer to. Instead of such deference to illegals, why not put forth effort into deferring to our veterans who are ignored and neglected, whose families struggle desperately financially? These veterans have to beg for the help that they were told they would receive when they entered the military. Recently when the vote came up to make English the official language, Hillary Clinton who expects to be President, and Barack Obama who aspires to be President, both voted against making English the official language. Why? Because they want the votes from the illegals who are possibly going to become legal. How about this -- the three prominent Democratic lawmakers, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Charles Schumer, all voted to give Social Security to illegals, but these pandering politicians did not bother to consult We The People first, and it is our money they are giving away. I’m not certain that this has become a law yet. Don’t you have the uneasy feeling that we are losing our core beliefs, that our Constitution is being trashed, and that we are in danger of losing our Country to greedy scoundrels who will betray our laws for the almighty vote? Isn’t this a bad dream that easily could become a reality if we continue in this direction? And, don’t we see President Bush’s conversion before our very eyes? He has the gall to attack those of us who vigorously object to absorbing another 12 million illegals, maybe more. Isn’t it true that the last Presidential predecessors, Bush 41, Clinton 42, and Bush 43, are totally to blame for this catastrophe? They all deliberately left the borders open and betrayed our Forefathers and our nation, and now we are losing our sovereignty, unless we demand to enforce our present laws, and that means no amnesty. Let’s stop making a mockery of our laws. Twelve million illegals can and should go back the same way they came in, through the open borders, taking their American children with them, then they can apply to come back legally. Our laws should be changed so that if illegals have children here, those children are also illegals. Mexico never has any illegal immigrant problem. If someone sneaks in, they are thrown into jail or quickly escorted back to the border. Meanwhile, Mexico continues to unload their criminals and send them to us. And, saps that we are, we take them in and give them benefits. It’s time for us to develop some real backbone, and say Basta, it’s enough already. It’s time to take back our Country. For KSCO and KOMY, this is Kay Zwerling. Copyright 2007

Kudos to my friend Michael Olson for some of the material. President Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security FICA program in 1935. It promised the following:1. That participation in the program would be completely voluntary.2. That the money the participants elected to put into the program would be deducted from their income for tax purposes each year.3. That the money the participants put into the Independent Trust Fund rather than the General Operating Fund therefore would only be used to fund the Social Security retirement program and no other governmental program, and finally -4. That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years, and are now receiving a Social security check each month, we are finding that we are getting taxed 85% of the money we paid to the federal government to put away for us. You may be interested in the following: Questions: Which political party took Social Security from the Independent Trust Fund and put it into the General Fund so that Congress could spend it whenever they felt like it? The answer: It was President Lyndon Johnson and the Democratically controlled Congress. Which political party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security FICA withholding? It was the Democratic party. Which political party started taxing Social Security annuities? The Democratic party with Al Gore casting the tie breaking deciding vote as President of the Senate while he was Vice President of the U.S. And, the Democrats to this day continue to raid the trust fund and leave IOU’s which they will repay when Hell freezes over, and they all use that money for their own States’ pet projects, like sometimes a bridge that goes nowhere. So, let’s see, which political party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? Jimmy Carter and the Democratic party. Immigrants moved into this country and at age 65 began to receive Social Security payments. The Democratic party gave these payments to them even though they never paid a dime into it. Why did they do that? For their votes, of course. That’s why Democratic politicians are so charitable with our money to all newcomers, so they the politicians can remain in power. Recently to add insult to injury, the Democratic Congress is allowing illegals to receive Social Security. Then, after doing all this lying and thieving, and violating of the original contract of FICA, the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away. The worst part of it is that uninformed citizens believe it. Do you really want the government to take care of everyone including 12 million illegals from the cradle to the grave? What about individual initiative and dignity and self-respect? Do you really want a Democratic leadership in 2008?For KSCO and KOMY, this is Kay Zwerling. Copyright 2007

Download from our website: Download this Podcast here The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling: I am tired and weary of those gullible Americans who are buying into this global guilt trip, like the world disapproves of United States being belligerent and starting wars with different countries, and we need to improve our image in the world community, and the arrogant left repeatedly tell us what the American people want. All that is pure bull pucky. These complaining righteous countries who sit on their derrieres and beg us for foreign aid and then have the gall to criticize us ? what would they do if they were attacked and lost 3,000 innocent citizens? They would probably assume the dead roach position. The truth is - our country is the most compassionate and the most generous in the world. What other nation, being at war, with Germany and Japan, wars that they had initiated, conquered them, then goes back and helps them to become robust democratic societies, with us spending billions of our taxes to repair their destroyed lands? The answer is, probably none. Let’s not buy into this type of insidious guilt our enemies here and abroad are using to demoralize and weaken us and especially our military. Coincidentally, the following gem floating around underscores my remarks. Here it is: ?A movie called Flags of our Fathers depicted the radio broadcast of Tokyo Rose. During World War 2, the Japanese developed a way to demoralize the American forces. Psychological warfare experts created a message they felt would work. They gave the script to their famous broadcaster, Tokyo Rose, and every day she would broadcast the same message ? packaged in different ways. These Japanese hoped it would have a negative impact on American GI’s morale. That demoralizing message has three main points: 1. Your President is lying to you.2. This war is illegal.3. You cannot win.Does this sound familiar? It is because we are being bombarded by Tokyo Hillary, Tokyo Harry, Tokyo Teddy, Tokyo Nancy, Tokyo Murtha, etc. They have picked up the same message and are broadcasting it to our troops on Tokyo CNN, Tokyo ABC, Tokyo CBS, Tokyo NBC, etc. The only difference is that they claim to support our troops before they demoralize them. They believe the lies are okay because the end will justify the means. That’s why the liberal left lies so much. For KSCO and KOMY, this is Kay Zwerling. Copyright 2007

Here is Kay Zwerling: For many years, countless numbers of World War II veterans living in Central California, also veterans of subsequent wars have yearned for the promised Fort Ord veterans cemetery to become a reality. These veterans, many now in their 80s, are referred to as the Greatest Generation -- my generation -- because we were all involved, we were together as a nation, and victory in war was more achievable then than now when our nation is very polarized and not together. And many have yet to grasp the danger of world Islamic terrorism. Now, finally, after 14 years, AB3035, the Bill to create that Fort Ord cemetery, has been passed, and for that kudos to State Senator J. Denham, Assemblyman S. Salinas, and Congressman Sam Farr. The Central Coast State Veterans Cemetery Endowment Fund is now charged with acquiring the initial $4,000,000 to proceed with this project. The yearly maintenance funding for the cemetery, however, will be the responsibility of the State. So, now, why don’t We The People use our creative thoughts and see how soon we can raise the necessary funds? Kudos, also, to World War II veteran Paul Ventura of Pebble Beach for caring so much for this project to become a reality that for years he kept the desire alive and now also he has various ideas about how to raise the funds needed. If you would like to be involved in this project, call Paul Ventura at (831) 626-0377, again, that’s (831) 626-0377, or email Paul at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Download from our website: Download this Podcast here The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling: About the new Senate immigration Bill, it is very bad. It will change the U.S. security and economy forever. It is another disastrous amnesty Bill. It tells the world that anyone can come here illegally, sweat it out for awhile, then become emboldened because our irresponsible leaders give free perks and privileges like our Social Security for free, and health care for free, to 12 million illegals. Already these illegals are marching for their "American rights". If this amnesty giveaway is finally voted on by our entire Congress, possibly in five years our no longer sovereign nation may be called Meximerica and our dollars may be called Ameros, and the upcoming super international highway linking the U.S. with Canada and Mexico will make us one Country instead of three separate countries. Amnesty will surely speed up these plans about which our leaders have not consulted We The People. We must tell Congress that this amnesty Bill could finally lose us our Country. The Republican party would barely or no longer exist, and the Democrats will make all our decisions, and God help us then. Wake up America Tell the House of Representatives to vote NO on this convoluted messy Bill. Of course, the American business community loves this Bill. They are salivating about the available cheap labor, but couldn’t care less about the negative effects on our economy. It’s the same problem about our leaders condoning our free trade policy whereby those we trade with are getting stronger, and we are becoming weaker and acquiring bigger and bigger trade deficits. Final thought: Why is President Bush fighting so desperately to instill democracy in the Middle East, which would be good for the world, while at the same time he is willing to give up our own sovereignty to a tri-country alliance with Mexico and Canada? Another final thought: The U.S. population is now 300 million, probably not even including the 12 million illegals. Wouldn’t it be wise at this time to put a moratorium on all immigration, both legal and illegal, for the foreseeable future, until such time when we could absorb more people without wrecking the American economy altogether.
