Let us call this "We may have an American Judge who will not be bullied. Pray for him."

In the recent past, numerous Americans have attempted to file lawsuits to determine whether Barack Obama is a citizen of our Country. He has repeatedly refused to expose his birth certificate, and claims he was born in Hawaii.

The media, which protects the President, rarely prints anything derogatory or negative about him.

Evidently no Court agreed to hear this case until now.

Judge David Carter, of Federal Court in Santa Ana, just agreed to hear this case and expedited the date to this coming Tuesday, January 26. Many concerned Veterans and citizens attended the hearing in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit, to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people.

Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama’s Request for Dismissal. He indicated there was almost no chance this case would be dismissed. Obama is arguing this lawsuit was filed in the wrong Court. He would prefer a "kangaroo court" instead of a Federal Court. The Judge, who is a former U.S. Marine, repeated several times that this is a very serious case, which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful rules, or lawful orders, to our military in this time of war. He basically said, "Obama must prove his eligibility to the Court. Americans deserve to know the truth about their President."

The two U.S. attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the Judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it, and cut them off several times. Obama’s attorneys left the Courtroom after a 90-minute hearing looking defeated and nervous.

This is a great day in America for the U.S. Constitution. The truth about Obama’s eligibility may be known fairly soon – Judge Carter practically guaranteed it.

Congratulations to Plaintiff’s attorney, Dr. Orly Taitz. She did a great job, and won some huge victories. She was fearless.

P.S. – There are some rumors floating around that this hearing is canceled, but we cannot find any proof of that. It is confusing, therefore, we will go on with the assumption that the Court case will still be heard this Tuesday, January 26, in Santa Ana, California, Federal Court, with Judge David Carter presiding.

Despite the several compelling issues ready to be discussed, let just opt to remind ourselves early on in 2010, about things we should remember to make life better and happier for ourselves, our loved ones, and friends.

Drink plenty of water. Eat foods that grow on trees and plants.  Eat less food that is manufactured in plants.

Live with the three E’s: Energy, Enthusiasm, Empathy.  Make time to pray.  Play more games.

Read more books than you did in 2009.  Sit in silence for at least ten minutes everyday.

Sleep for seven hours.  Take a 10-30 minute walk daily. While you walk, smile.

Do not compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about!

Do not have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead, invest your energy in the

positive present moment.  Do not overdo. Keep your limits.  Do not take yourself so seriously.

No one else does!  Do not waste your precious energy on gossip.  Dream more while you are

awake.   Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need. Forget issues of the past.

Do not remind your partner of his or her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present

happiness.  Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Do not hate others.  Make peace with

your past so it will not spoil your present.  No one is in charge of your happiness except you.

Realize that life is a school, and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum

that appear and fade away, but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.  Smile and laugh more.

You do not have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Call your family often.  Each day give something good to others.  Forgive everyone for everything.

Spend time with people over the age of 70, and under the age of six.  Try to make at least three

people smile each day.  Whatever people think of you is none of your business.

Your job will not take care of you when you are sick. Your friends will. Stay in touch.

And finally, on LIFE:

Do the right thing.  Get rid of everything that is not useful, beautiful, or joyful.  Remember that

God heals everything!  However good or bad a situation is, it will change.  No matter how you

feel, get up, dress up, and show up.  The best is yet to come.  When you awake, arise in the

morning, thank God for it.  Your innermost is always happy, so be happy.

The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling:

Many of these thoughts come from Dr. Geoffrey Hunt of the National Institute of Health. It is called "Another Failed Presidency", and one wonders how long Dr. Hunt can remain at NIH once the powers that be get wind of this condensed article. I will add some of my thoughts also.

Barack Obama is on track to have the most failed Presidency since Woodrow Wilson. In the modern era, we have seen several failed Presidencies – led by Jimmy Carter and LBJ. Failed Presidents have one strong common trait – they are repudiated, in the vernacular, spit out.

But, Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing fast. And failing everywhere: foreign policy, domestic initiative, and most importantly in forging connections with the American people. He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people, and may indeed loathe them. He is failing because he has lost control of his message and is overexposed. And he lies easily and often, so he is no longer credible.

But there is something more seriously wrong. How could a new President riding in on a wave of unprecedented promise and goodwill have forfeited his tenure and become a lame duck in six months? His poll ratings are in freefall. This truly is unbelievable.

Obama does not have a narrative. He has a self narrative, much of it fabricated, cleverly disguised, or written by someone else. But, this self narrative is isolated and does not connect with us.

We admire those Presidents whose narratives not only touch our own, but who seem stronger, wiser, and smarter than we are.

But not this President. He is cold and detached. It is not so much that he is a phony, knows nothing about economics, and is historically illiterate. His notions of right and wrong are repugnant, and how things work just do not add up. His descriptions of the world we live in just do not make sense.

I would like to add – he does not listen to the people who do not want government controlled healthcare. It for his personal accomplishment. This alone will lose him the Presidency.

Expect Obama to lament at his last press conference in 2012: "For those of you I offended, I apologize. For those of you who were not offended, you just didn’t give me enough time. If only I’d had a second term, I could have offended you, too."

Yes, small Presidents do fail, Obama among them.

To conclude:

Margaret Thatcher said "The trouble with socialism is sooner or later you run out of other peoples’ money."

We have heard that many times.

Here is another one "When you subsidize poverty and failure, you get more of both."

And here is another one "The more corrupt the State, the more it legislates."

And, finally, this was written by Unknown, also – "A liberal is a person who will give away everything s/he does not own."

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling: The title of this is “Israelis Baffled By News Of Defenseless U.S. Soldiers”.

Download File

It would be remiss to let this story go away without exposing the one simple reason why that tragedy had to happen.     Like a broken record, for many years – since Political Correctness was created by the foolish American Left, and spread quickly all over Europe  – in the early 1960s – I lamented the many wrong episodes that P.C. promoted.   Along comes my good friend, former Santa Cruz resident and KSCO talk host, Andy Anderson, who exposed for us what our own media either did not know or was too embarrassed to tell, and that is the following:

Many Israelis, and the rest of us, want to know, why didn’t the soldiers at Fort Hood attacked by the U.S. Army Major – turned terrorist – return fire?

When a Muslim goes Muslim in Israel, he is typically shot to death within seconds by someone for screaming “Allah Ahkbar” and shooting.

In contrast with the Israeli experience, it took ten minutes before a civilian police officer at Fort Hood was able to shoot and stop Muslim fanatic, Nidal Malik Hasan.

During those minutes, Hasan killed 13 soldiers, and shot and injured 30 others.       How could that happen?  How could so many people trained in the strategies and tactics of modern warfare be so defenseless?

The answer – and this may astonish many Americans – is that the victims were unarmed.  U.S. soldiers are not allowed to carry guns for personal protection, even on a 340-acre base quartering more than 50,000 troops.   Is this believable?

So it goes in brain-dead liberal America.  And, our current liberal President vigorously promotes that philosophy.     It is also liberal brain-dead to Mirandize enemies known to want to annihilate Americans.

Fort Hood is a gun-free zone, thanks to regulations adopted in one of the very first acts signed into law by anti-gun President Bill Clinton in March 1993.   Evidently that foolish barbaric law still exists.   Contrary to President Obama’s crocodile tears, his Administration is bent on further disarming the U.S. military and all Americans.   Obama and his people will not rest until every American is a sitting duck.

The upcoming trial turned circus in New York re the Guantanamo Bay criminals will further diminish our respect in our government’s judgment by the world who sees our leaders as unrealistic, weak, and impractical.   God help us!   For your information – Israeli teachers, from kindergarten on up, are also armed; so a Fort Hood type slaughter is highly unlikely at an Israeli school or university.   Israelis who have had to combat terrorism all their lives are not afraid of guns.  They are an armed people, ready, willing, and able to defend themselves and their Country. Unlike indoctrinated Americans, paralyzed by fear and Political Correctness, Israelis understand that people, not guns, kill people.  Put another way – guns never kill people – people kill people. Again, kudos to you Andy Anderson for this urgent clarification.

While discussing the issue with my friend the other day, I think we have found the solution. I am sure you have heard the idea that if you are a senior you need to suck it up and give up the idea that you need any healthcare. A new hip? Unheard of. We simply cannot afford to take care of you anymore. You do not need any medications for your high blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, etc. Let us take care of the young people. After all, they will be ruling the world very soon.

So, here is the solution. But remember, it is really facetious, and not for real.

When you turn 70, you get a gun and three bullets. You are allowed to shoot one Senator and two Representatives. Of course, you will be sent to prison where you will get three meals a day, a roof over your head, and all the healthcare you need. New teeth? Great. Need glasses? No problem. Need a hip, knee, kidney, lungs, heart? Well, bring it on.

And, who will be paying for all this? The same government that just told you that you are too old for healthcare. And, since you are a prisoner, you do not have to pay any income tax. How about that?

And now, how about this little gem, which is for real, deep, and thoughtful. Thanks to Gene Sandan for this one, and many of the others he shared with our listeners, because they always struck an emotional or human note. This is called, you have to love this God Said No.

I asked God to take away my habit. He said No. It is not for Me to take away, it is for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole. God said ?No. His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

So, I asked God to grant me patience. God said No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations. It is not granted. It is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness. God said No. I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you.

So, I asked God to spare me pain. God said ?o. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares, and brings you closer to Me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

So, I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life. God said No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things.

Then, I asked God to help me love others as much as He loves me. God said Ah, finally you have the idea. This day is yours. Don't throw it away.

To the world, you might be one person, but to one person you just might be the world. Good friends are like stars. We do not always see them, but you know they are there. For KSCO  this is Kay Zwerling.

Download File The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling: Kudos to Oklahoma, whose citizens remember well that our State laws do supersede those created by our Federal government. Our current President either forgets we have a Constitution or does not care. There is nothing in the Constitution that states the Federal government can force universal healthcare with or without a public option. We have the Federal government run and dictate rules on universal healthcare, and arbitrarily steal $500 billion from Medicare, which we the seniors of the U.S. paid into and need for ourselves. That will not work. If the current Senate health Bill passes, it could be challenged as illegal. We the People should all stand together and refuse to purchase the insurance jammed or rammed through which automatically makes our Country socialist. It is time for all U.S. States to follow Oklahoma and assert themselves. Oklahoma recently passed a law, 37 to 9, and a few liberals were in the mix, and the law was an Amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the State Capital. The Feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said ?Oh, that would be a mistake. You cannot do that. Guess what ? Oklahoma did it anyway. Several weeks ago, a law was passed declaring Oklahoma as a sovereign State, not under the Federal government directives, joining Texas, Montana, and Utah as the only other States to do so. More States are likely to follow: like, Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Florida. The Federal government has made bold steps to take away our guns. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law stating that people in that State have the right to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I am sure that was a setback for the criminals and Obama-ites. Liberals did not like it, but ? guess what ? Oklahoma did it anyway. Just this month, Oklahoma has voted and passed a law that all drivers license examinations will be printed in English only, and no other language. They have been called racist for doing this, but the fact is that all of their road signs are in English only. If you want to drive in Oklahoma, you must read and write English. Really ? simple. By the way, the Attorney General does not like any of this. Guess what ? who cares? Oklahoma is doing it anyway. Isn?t it really way past time for all the States to speak out and become assertive and proceed to do what our Federal Constitution says the States can do ? and tell Obama, Pelosi, and Reid to scratch the House and Senate universal healthcare Bills, and come up with something proper and simple created by both the Republicans and Democrats in Congress? Something that does not take up 2000 pages. Something that would take up maybe ten pages. A Bill of 2000 pages is in many ways dishonest because it is full of irrelevant provisions called earmarks, and lots of other bullpucky. Also, why didn?t Pelosi and Reid allow our Republican Representatives in Congress to have any input whatsoever in creating the healthcare Bill? Aren?t we supposed to be the United States, and not the Divided States? Let us speak out, because we are on the verge of losing our government as we know it. For KSCO, this is Kay Zwerling. Download File The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling: This is called ’satan, the great motivator?. Let us study the intriguing relationship of economics and religion, and see how the second controls and stimulates the first. What makes economies grow? It is a question that has occupied thinkers for centuries. Here is one you might not have considered: HELL. Yes, HELL makes some economies grow. A pair of Harvard researchers recently examined 40 years of datum from dozens of countries trying to sort out the economic impact of religious beliefs or practices. They found that religion has a measurable effect on developing economies ? and the most powerful influence relates to how strongly people believe in HELL. That HELL could matter to economic growth might seem surprising since you cannot prove it exists, let alone quantify it. It stands as one of the most intriguing findings in a growing body of recent research exploring how religion might influence the wealth and prosperity of societies. In a sense, Religion and Economics long have been intertwined. There are more verses on money and finance in the Bible than there are verses on Prayer. The New Testament states it clearly in contradictory positions: On the one hand is the admonition that a rich person has little chance of getting into Heaven; on the other is the parable of the talents, which praises the servant who got the biggest return on his money. This is interesting. Islam to this day outlaws the charging of interest. Wow ? that is one positive aspect of Islam. Buddhism instructs its followers to abjure or repudiate the desire for material goods. In the Middle Ages, studies showed that the states run by monks outperformed those that used serfs thanks to religiously-inspired cooperation. The Quakers of 18th century Britain, renowned for their scrupulous honesty, came to dominate British finance. Ultra-orthodox Jews similarly dominate New York’s diamond trade because of levels of trust based on religion. Modern religious kibbutzim, which are small self-contained Jewish communities in Israel, on average outperform their secular rivals, in part because of trust built through engaging in communal religious rituals. The Protestant work ethic is a driving force behind modern Capitalism in the West. So, what is it about religion that creates how these economies are affected? All the major religions like Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism extol virtues like self-discipline, sacrifice, and thrift. Some even preach that earthly success translates to good things in the Afterlife, a kind of gold-plated stairway to Heaven. I would like to add ? if one really wishes to cut to the chase, one can put it bluntly, like if one does not believe in Hell, one need not be scared of retribution, and one can often and up to a point get away with cheating, etc. Conversely, if one believes honestly and fervently in the existence of God, one will be good, and never be tempted to cheat in business or otherwise. Kudos to Erin Farquhar for suggesting we delve into this unique theory of Michael Fitzgerald’s recent article on Commerce and Religion. Though we did condense it, we see that economies and Religion do indeed support and complement each other. For KSCO, this is Kay Zwerling. copyright 2009
