The following is a KSCO commentary.

Here is Kay Zwerling: As a once longtime Democrat, for many years, I remember proudly voting for the first time at age 21 and thereafter never missing an election, aware that the ability to vote is the greatest right we Americans have. I have felt frustrated often hearing certain peers and young people say that they’re so disenchanted with government corruption whichever party is in power that they don?t vote at all. And that is a copout.

Bad things happen when good people do nothing. And we usually get the government we deserve. In the 1940s, when the Democratic party was led by strong leaders like FDR who created national programs to pull us out of the Great Depression, I felt proud to be a Democrat. FDR engaged the country on a regular basis with his famous fireside talks and families gathered together to listen to him on the radio. We all cared. The Republicans then didn’t like, in fact, some of them hated FDR because he was a successful leader and he continued to remain in power after the traditional two terms when he was elected to a third. The Republicans then like the Democrats now, were miserable because of jealousy.

And when we closed ranks and joined England and France to finish off Hitler and Germany during World War II, FDR and Winston Churchill, the dynamic leader of Great Britain’s war effort, were an awesome, and in many ways a beloved twosome. Many Americans were shocked and appalled when President Roosevelt at that time chose to deny a ship full of Jewish immigrants from Germany to land in New York Harbor. He sent them back to Germany to die in Hitler’s ovens. Ironically now we have room for 11 million illegals from Mexico. That episode of Roosevelt’s was unforgivable. And it may have, and should have, haunted him forever. About the Democratic party of today, it has been self-destructing since Bush won. It is desperate for power, vindictive, and it makes no po

The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling:

The American dominant media, namely ABC, NBC, and CBS, have been shamelessly lying to us, and it is called The Sin of Omission. They have become networks of political manipulation instead of deliverers of honest news. They still remain very powerful since one of them just hired a mediocre morning commentator for $13 million per year, proving they have more money than good judgment.

Since President Bush became President over five years ago, these liberal networks along with most, but not all, liberals, have never gotten over the fact that the Democrats lost the last two elections. In the first election, Al Gore used his clout as then Vice President to create drive-by voting for thousands of illegals to vote for him as President with no questions asked.

He still lost and never became President, thank God.

The left do not lose gracefully, and when they lose, they fuss and moan and attack the opposition personally. In short, they have tantrums.

The liberal media report every bad incident occurring in Iraq, and omit all of the U.S. and Iraqi armies’ victories. Along with the endless bashing of President Bush, their dishonest reckless actions delight and embolden the enemy terrorists and prolong the bombings of our troops and innocent Iraqi citizens. The American media want us to fail in Iraq, and that is treason.

After Afghanistan, world intelligence did believe that there were WMD’s in Iraq and that Saddom Hussein was cruel and unstable enough to possibly use them.

Except for France, Russia and Germany who were busy receiving billions of bribe dollars from the scoundrel Hussein, from the Oil for Food scandal, the entire U.N. unanimously voted that we must disarm Iraq Our entire congress voted and agreed.

Now, they all have amnesia. When things are rough, all the Monday morning quarterbacks who never would have predicted that all the world’s Islamic terrorists would converge in Baghdad to try to prevent democracy from taking hold – are complaining and blaming Bush for everything constantly. How cowardly Weaklings always search for scapegoats instead of having the kohonees to say “Perhaps we all made some mistakes.”

Nonetheless, returning soldiers and visitors to Iraq continue to report that wonderful things are happening there. The conniving media refuse to report anything positive.

Eventually the troops will leave. The jury is still out about the direction in Iraq. More time will tell if the Iraqi people have the will and fortitude to create and maintain a democracy. It won’t be easy.

Kudos to our own troops, the best and brightest, going there willingly and courageously to fight the Islamic terrorists, thereby to insure they do not come to our shores. Kudos also to the Bush Administration for keeping us safe from terrorist attacks since 9/11. About the media, shame on their dishonesty. May they self destruct.

Kay Zwerling Comments On Immigration Mess, Scores Presidents And Suggests Firings And Closings

The following is a KSCO commentary. Here is Kay Zwerling:

Weighing in on the present immigration mess, first, close the borders, ignore the marchers who wish to undermine our laws. Those here illegally must obey the laws, must learn English, vote in English, apply for citizenship, and wait the same amount of time as those who come in legally. No drivers’ licenses, no voting rights until they become legal citizens. That’s what I think. No more amnesty. Furthermore, no more voting ballots in any language other than English. (That’s idiotic.) No more pandering to foreign newcomers.

All of these related troubles stem from weakling leaders in both political parties whose main concern is, and has always been, reelection and vying for newcomers’ votes. Those leaders willingly left the borders open. Both political parties, for over two decades are responsible for the eleven million illegals here. Thank you President Ford, thank you George Herbert Walker Bush, thank you President Clinton, and George W. for your deliberate failures. Since the word felon has been used so loosely, and then crossed out, I submit it is our delinquent leaders, Presidents, and Congress, who by their inaction in upholding the laws of our land are the real felons. There is only one special political leader, like a voice in the wilderness, that stands out, who for years pleaded with the legislature to protect our borders from illegals, criminals, and terrorists, and to him we must say Kudos to you Tom Tancredo because you cared and you tried. And another thing, the tail must stop wagging the dog. About the UCSC student protests re the military recruiters being on campus, the students should be expelled for leaving their classes, and We The People should withdraw public funds to help them. They are in school to learn their subject matter and not to make policy for the University and the Country.

And the wimpy delinquent faculty better shape up or they should be fired. About the Regents who approve enormous salaries
