The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

I wrote this in the Spring of 2010, and it is in my book.  It is a true logical gem.  Kudos to Rae Williams for sharing this.  It bears repeating.  Maybe Obama will put to sleep his agenda to change our free world into socialism.   But, it is unlikely.

As the late Adrian Rogers said, “You cannot multiple wealth by dividing it.”

An economics professor at a local college, made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but recently he failed an entire class.  That class had insisted that Obama’s socialism worked, and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, and that is a great equalizer.

The professor then said “OK, why don’t we have an experiment in this class on Obama’s plan.”  All grades will be averaged and everyone would receive the same the same grade, so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.   After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.  The students who studied hard were upset, and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less, and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride, too, so they studied little.

The second test average was a D (like in Dove).  No one was happy.

When the third test rolled around, the average was an F (like in Fail).

As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame, and name calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away no one will try or want to succeed.

It could not be any simpler than that.

Remember, there is a test coming within the next couple of days – it will be a very crucial election for our Country.  Don’t forget to vote.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

I wrote this on 11-19-2005, and it is in my book.

Holy Moses and Jesus Christ – are undoubtedly the two most compelling moral figures of our current civilization, because they were chosen by God to deliver to the world His messages for the endurance of a good and ethical society.

History records that after God created the world, He also created different civilizations to occupy it one at a time.  Each civilization grew and evolved, and because of human lust and power, each gradually became so morally bankrupt that in disgust God decided to discard them and start all over again.

The present civilization is now showing unmistakable signs of so much moral decay that God may discard it, also.   He is very angry with many of us – witness the unusual and frequent abundant catastrophes our world is experiencing.

About six centuries ago, Moses was summoned by God to receive and disburse to His people, the Jews, His Ten Commandments, so that gradually their people would learn to worship God by living productively and morally.

Our civilization presently is being assaulted by many people who have rejected religion, rejected the family unit, who are trying vigorously to legalize same-sex marriage.

These same people created legislation to allow pregnant 12-year-old girls to obtain abortions without the knowledge of their parents.  Our society is going downhill rapidly.

Several centuries after God delivered to Moses His Commandments, a very special human being was born – His name was Jesus.  As a young adult, he told the people to “Love they neighbor, and turn the other cheek.”

These teachings of Jesus were so new and so foreign to a dog-eat-dog belligerent and destructive world that many embraced them and so Christianity was born.

About a couple of centuries ago, our nation, a democracy, was created by our forefathers and in their wisdom they combined the moral beliefs of both Judaism and Christianity as an ethical basis and mission statement for our incredible Country.  So, from its inception the United States has been and always will be a Judeo Christian nation.   We pray that our democracy will continue to prosper and endure despite the negative pressures of decadent godless forces in our midst.   So, God, please continue to bless America.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

This is in Part 3, The World, in my book.  I wrote it in February 2003.

About 60 years ago, the winds of WW2 began.  Adolph Hitler planned to control all of Europe first and then the world.  To avert war, Britain’s Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, had Hitler agree to settle for taking over just one country, Czechoslovakia.   Chamberlain returned to England and proclaimed to the world that now-famous quote “There will be peace in our time.”

He was wrong.  Hitler soon after took over Poland.  The allies ordered the German Army out of Poland or face war.  That was the beginning of WW2.  Chamberlain and the allies learned a bitter lesson – appeasement does not work, it only allows the enemy more time to become stronger.  It only delays the inevitable.

Who in his civilized mind could ever have imagined Hitler’s final solution, the total annihilation of the Jews in Europe?  Today, history revisionists claim the unthinkable never could have happened, and they leave that world event out of the history books.  The Holocaust happened.  It was a tribute to man’s inhumanity to man.

Six million Jews were burned in the ovens of concentration camps.  A part of my family was wiped out.  My own horrified German sister-in-law tells how many Germans at that time wondered about the strange smell that permeated the atmosphere around Munich.

It was not our finest hour either.  Our own President Franklin Roosevelt denied refuge to a shipload of Jews in New York Harbor, and forced them to turn back to Germany to be incinerated.  I was a child, and I remember it well.

One might wonder why the Jews went to the concentration camps so passively.  The answer is that Hitler’s first edict once in power was to confiscate all firearms so the people were powerless.

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

A Scottish friend from Edinburgh, Scotland, sent the following unique version of a commentary I did two years ago on the topic of political correctness.  I truly believe that political correctness has been and continues to be the most compelling factor in the moral deterioration of our Country during the past 35 years.  This is called “Obituary Notice”.

“Common Sense died 24/7/365 in North America’s Heart, USA.  Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend by the name of Common Sense, who had been with us for many years.

No one knows for sure how old he was.  His birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.  He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as knowing when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, and life is not always fair.  Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies, like do not spend more than you earn and reliable parenting strategies, like adults – not kids, are in charge.

His health began to rapidly deteriorate when well-intentioned, but overbearing regulations were set in place, like reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, or teens suspended from schools for using mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

It declined even further when schools were required to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student; but, the schools could not inform the parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Finally, Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense further gave up the ghost after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, spilled a bit in her lap, claimed McDonald’s did not warn her, and was offered a large settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents Truth and Trust, his wife Discretion, his daughter Responsibility, and his son Reason.  He is survived, however, by two stepchildren, U. A. Victim and Ima Whiner.  Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.  If you remember him, pass this on.  If not, join the majority and do nothing.”

The following is a KSCO commentary.  Here is Kay Zwerling:

I wrote this in August 2008, and it is still relevant today.

There is much justified concern about the Social Security System possibly not existing in the foreseeable future for those who have been putting into the system for many years.

It is been a national disgrace that members of our Congress have been raiding the system.  Arbitrarily, they chose to take money out of the Social Security fund, which was specifically set up for those who were paying into the system with the expectation of receiving monthly payments starting at age 65.

Congress ignored that rules and transferred that fund into the General Fund so that they could help themselves to millions of dollars for projects in their own constituencies, often ridiculous projects.

For many years, they have taken the money and left instead IOU’s.

Now, those leaders are crying crocodile tears because the Social Security funds are almost gone, and the system will be broke in the near future.

The Congressional thieves are totally responsible and should be forced to put back what they stole, from their own personal bloated salaries and pensions.

Well, will that happen?  Of course not.  We the People, as usual, will pick up the tab because Social Security must continue to exist for all those Americans who in good faith trusted the government with their money.

By the way, isn’t it way past time to have term limits in Congress?  Presidents and Vice Presidents have term limits.  There are too many scoundrels who make being in Congress a lifetime job.

Their own foolish constituents continue to vote them into office thinking that their experience makes them valuable.  Bull-puckie!

It is the opposite.  The longer they remain in Congress, the more entrenched, cockier, and more corrupt they become.

Finally, a two-year term is adequate.  After that, they become callous, and sneak in earmarks.  Term limits for Congress should be a priority, but it will never happen unless We the People demand it!
