2-escapees were apprehended this morning, minutes after climbing a fence at monterey county juvenile hall. The 16 and 17-year-olds had been in p.e. class, when they scaled the fence and jumped to the other side. Both sustained injuries from the razor wire on top of the fence. They were spotted by a monterey county sheriff’s sergeant, who held the pair at gunpoint while backup arrived. the teens were arrested, and returned to juvenile hall custody.
