(19:02) PACIFIC GROVE- Pacific Grove police arrested a suspected vehicle thief after he crashed into a fence and retaining wall at the Presidio of Monterey yesterday (Thur). Authorities say that shortly before 11:30 a.m. a patrol unit attempted to stop a stolen truck and a chase ensued until the truck crashed on Reeside Avenue, where the driver, Adrian Cronister and an accomplice fled on foot. Chronister was apprehended nearby and booked into county jail.
