(19:18) MONTEREY-Monterey was the focus of the county’s STOPP program yesterday (Thurs). The STOPP program uses officers from eight different county and state law enforcement agencies to saturate one city a month. Officers from Carmel, Monterey, Seaside, Pacific Grove, CHP, Marina, Salinas and Greenfield, were looking for traffic violations. The operation was conducted from 7a.m. until noon.
