(22:52) SALINAS- A 50 year old Salinas man was assaulted Sunday night. The incident began as verbal altercation between customers at the Little Caesar’s pizzeria on East Laurel Street, the victim then told a female customer she was to overweight and shouldn’t eat pizza, the woman’s son then punched the man in the head multiple times. The victim was transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries. No arrests have been made at this time.
