(1313) SANTA CRUZ- The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s office will be manning a Community Services trailer at several parks this summer. Deputies stationed at the outpost will provide nearby communities with services, such as: getting fix-it tickets signed off, fingerprinting children for safety, and disposal of unwanted prescription medications. From June 9 to 26, the trailer will be in Anna Jean Cummings Park, 461 Soquel San Jose Road in Soquel. June 27 to July 17, the trailer will be at Felton Covered Bridge Park at Graham Hill and Mount Hermon roads in Felton. From July 18 to Aug. 8, the trailer will be at Pinto Lake Park at 451 Green Valley Road near Watsonville. Deputies plan to be in the parks 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
