(07:26) MARINA – Marina police are increasing patrols following a rise in car thefts and burglaries. In the past five months, officers have received 20 reports of stolen vehicles. There were also 26 burglaries in April and May alone. Police recently made four arrests, including two suspects who were found in a stolen car on Carmel Avenue. The public is being asked to remain vigilant, remove valuables from their vehicles, and report any suspicious activity. (S.G.)
