(11:37) SEATTLE – The Seattle-based organization TINYpulse has released a report, surveying employee engagement at companies around the globe. The Best Industry Report is a first-of-its kind analysis that reviewed over 30,000 employee responses across 500+ companies. The survey revealed that those working in Finance and Insurance ranked low on the happiness scale, with only 22 percent of employees saying they were truly happy at work. Further investigation revealed that the Finance and Insurance sector has been impacted by a number of factors, including low levels of satisfaction with managers and colleagues. Other low ranking industries in the survey included Education and Manufacturing. The highest ranking industries included Construction and Facilities Services as well Technology and Software. (S.G.)
