(19:20) MONTEREY CO– A Former Greenfield resident has been sentenced for a murder conviction. On August 30th 1997 Fidel Rios-Soto shot and killed his roommate after an argument while drinking. Rios-Soto then spent 15 years as a fugitive in Mexico before returning to California. He was arrested after a traffic stop in 2013 and convicted for the murder in 2014. Rios-Soto was sentenced to 35 years to life in prison.
