(09:35) Monterey County – Cal Fire reported that faulty power lines caused a vegetation fire yesterday in Monterey County. The fire started around 9 a.m. near the unincorporated community of Bradley. South Monterey County Fire Protection District and Camp Roberts National Guard Base responded to the area near the intersection of U.S. Highway 101 and Alvarado Road. At the scene, crews found about five to ten acres of fire burning in grass and brush. Crews were able to contain the fire by 9:55 a.m.. There were no evacuations or road closures, and no structures were damaged.
