(06:14) SALINAS – Salinas police are investigating two shootings that occurred Sunday. The first incident took place on Quilla Street near 2nd Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. One victim was struck by gunfire and taken to the hospital. The second shooting occurred two hours later on Kentucky Avenue. Officials say a man was shot in the leg while riding his bicycle. He was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe the shootings are gang-related. A grey Nissan Altima was described as the suspect vehicle in both incidents. Anyone with information is to contact Salinas police. (S.G.)
