(12:15) MONTEREY COUNTY – The Transportation Agency for Monterey County has announced some traffic delays for this week. A major retaining wall construction project will result in daytime traffic control and full nighttime closures of Highway 1 between Gorda and Ragged Point from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. June 29 through July 2. Night work will take place Sunday night through Friday morning and motorists traveling north or south of these closures are advised to reach their destinations before 10 p.m. There will be no overnight closure on Thursday night due to the fourth of July Holiday. Motorists can expect daytime delays of approximately 10 minutes. (P.S.)
