(15:58) CAPITOLA- The Kohl’s Corporation has reached a settlement in a multi county false advertising case. Santa Cruz County is one of four counties that filed the joint suit after an investigation showed prices at the register were higher than advertised. In the settlement the company did not admit wrong doing, but has to pay court and investigative costs. Kohl’s must also provide safeguards that will prevent future overcharges.
