(16:26) SCOTTS VALLEY- A fire broke out in a Scotts Valley kitchen Friday morning. At about 9:50 a.m. firefighters responded to a report of a fire on the 600 block of Grace Way. Upon on arrival fire crews battled an aggressive blaze that started in a kitchen appliance and spread to the second floor. The tenants, who were in the process of moving, escaped the fire unharmed. A family cat was found unconscious in a first floor bedroom; paramedics were able to revive the pet with oxygen. The home will need to be completely gutted and rebuilt.
