June 19, 2015: Santa Cruz City School District Receives Grant for Drought Response

(10:01) SANTA CRUZ – The Santa Cruz City School District has received a grant from the State Water Resources Control Board. The agency has awarded the district over $450,000 through the Drought Response Outreach Programs for Schools, which funds education and on-campus projects focusing on water conservation and rain catchment. Bay View Elementary School plans to use the grant to retrofit their school grounds and promote water awareness on campus. (S.G.)
