June 19, 2015: President Barack Obama to Visit San Francisco

(06:55) SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA – President Barack Obama will be visiting San Francisco Friday to attend Democratic fundraisers and the annual U.S. Conference of Mayors. He is expected to arrive at SFO in the afternoon. He will then deliver remarks at the Conference of Mayors at the Hilton on Union Square around 3 p.m. Motorists should expect traffic delays on northbound Highway 101 and rolling closures throughout San Francisco as the commander in chief makes his way to the Hilton.

Further traffic delays can be expected throughout the day as the Bay Area celebrates the Golden State Warriors victory at the NBA Finals and the 100th Anniversary of San Francisco City Hall. The Warriors parade will begin at 10 a.m. and will span two miles in downtown Oakland. A party will be held at city hall in the evening for the centennial celebration. (S.G.)
