(07:37) MONTEREY – The Monterey Conference Center will be closing on Monday as developers prepare to renovate the facility. During the closure, crews will be removing asbestos on the front wall of the building. Air quality inside and outside the sealed abatement enclosure will be monitored daily to assure public safety. The Conference Center will re-open in late July, and will remain open until renovations begin in late November. (S.G.)
