(07:35) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The Santa Cruz County organization Lynda Kidz Backpack Project is holding a fundraiser in Scotts Valley this weekend. The project’s mission is to assist low-income families by providing backpacks and school supplies for their children. Their goal this year is to distribute 850 backpacks. The organization has collected 453 backpacks so far. The community is invited to attend a Craft Fair fundraiser at Bruno’s BBQ on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to help the organization meet its goal. (S.G.)
