(16:40) SEASIDE- The Monterey Peninsula Buddhist Temple was the venue for an event celebrating bonsai trees on Sunday. Over 50 of the bonsai trees were displayed at Seaside’s Bonsai Festival. Many of the trees on display were species native to the area, including a three foot Oak tree and a two foot tall Monterey Cypress tree. The Monterey Cypress typically grows to between 50 and 60 feet tall.
