June 14, 2015: Salinas Attempted Murders

(12:00) SALINAS- Salinas police are investigating an attempted murder following a shooting that left two victims with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities say that at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday patrol units responded to reports of a shooting on the 200 block of West Curtis Street, on scene officers located a 26 year old male and a 20 year old female suffering from gunshot wounds to the arms and legs. The victims were transported to Natividad Medical Center. Investigators say the victims by a fence in front of the residence when a shooter exited a late model Ford Fusion and opened fire. The suspect vehicle was last seen fleeing east on West Curtis Street.
