(17:37) SANTA CRUZ – Witnesses are being sought in connection with last week’s fatal motorcycle crash in Santa Cruz. 35 year-old San Jose resident Cesar Olaiz was pronounced dead after he crashed his motorcycle into a concrete wall, and then landed in the roadway of southbound Highway 1 (between River Street and the Northbound 17 on-ramp). It was initially thought that Olaiz was hit by another vehicle, however investigators now feel that was not the case. Anyone who witnessed the actual accident is encouraged to contact the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department.
