(06:58) SEASIDE – Seaside police are advising the public to stay alert following a recent rise in burglaries. Officers say they have received an increase of reports from victims who have had property stolen from their homes and cars. The public is being asked to remain vigilant, remove valuables from their vehicles, secure valuables in their homes, and report any suspicious activity. Anyone leaving their home for an extended period of time can request a close patrol. (S.G.)
