(07:59) SANTA CRUZ – A Santa Cruz woman was killed in a hit and run early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred on northbound Highway 1 at River Street shortly after 12:30 a.m. Arriving officers found the 59-year-old victim in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The roadway was closed off while officers conducted an investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Santa Cruz Police. (S.G.)
