(15:55) SANTA CRUZ- The most recent water quality results for the Santa Cruz Main Beach, from the Santa Cruz wharf extending east to Life Guard Tower 3 and Cowell Beach, west of the wharf, extending to Life Guard Tower 1, sampled on July 8, indicate E. coli bacteria levels above the safe body contact standards. These beaches have been posted with swimming advisory signs. The warning signs will be maintained until bacteria levels fall within safe body contact standards. No other Santa Cruz County Beaches are affected by this advisory.
