July 8, 2015: Santa Cruz County Visitors Council Releases New Birding Guide

(09:28) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – The Santa Cruz County Visitors Council has announced the release of a new edition of its Birding and Wildlife Watching guide. The free 44-page booklet provides information on approximately 400 migratory and permanent bird species found throughout the county.  The guide is designed for use by locals and visitors to help navigate the communities adjacent to birding destinations. It also includes information on the county’s various habitats and maps of birding and wildlife hotspots. The guides are now available at the center for the Santa Cruz County Conference and Visitors Council on Water Street in Santa Cruz. (S.G.)
