18:48) PRUNEDALE- A two-day, paving operation requiring a lane closure along a ½ -mile section of southbound U.S. Highway 101 at Blackie Road in Prunedale will begin on Tuesday, July 12, Caltrans officials have announced.Roadwork is scheduled from 9 am to 2 pm each day on Tuesday/Wednesday and consists of a lane closure of the #2 (right) lane. There will be an Electronic Message Board alerting motorists, who can expect delays up to 15 minutes. The CHP will be present to assist with traffic control.The purpose of this project is to provide motorists and bicyclists a safer route to travel. Roadwork is scheduled to be complete by Wednesday, July 13. This roadwork is being performed by Salinas North maintenance crew.
