(07:59) MONTEREY COUNTY – The Transportation Agency for Monterey County has proposed a plan, aiming to improve traffic conditions and driver safety. The plan outlines a number of improvement projects targeting four accident-prone areas. The locations include the intersection of State Route 156 and Castroville Boulevard, Highway 68 between Monterey and Salinas, Highway 101 south of Salinas, and Imjin Parkway in Marina. The projects would cost an estimated $130 million. The proposal will next be reviewed by the county’s Board of Supervisors on July 19. (S.G.)
