(13:07) SANTA CRUZ– The Santa Cruz District Attorney’s office announced that, known gang member; Colby Isidro entered a guilty plea on Thursday. The plea was entered to charges in a 2009 shooting of another gang member. Prosecutors had been unable to find willing witnesses to the grievous wounding of Michael Escobar. Investigators obtained wire taps for Isidro’s cell and recorded an admission of the shooting while in custody on other matters. Isidro is to be sentenced to 18 years in prison when he is back in court on July 16th.
