(07:23) MONTEREY COUNTY – A former King City police chief has pleaded no contest to embezzlement and perjury. Nick Baldiviez was one of six officers arrested in February 2014 in connection with an illegal towing scheme. Baldiviez is accused of lying during his preliminary hearing about selling a police vehicle to another officer. He faces up to two years in prison when he is sentenced in September. (S.G.)
