(09:53) SALINAS – Two people were arrested in Salinas Wednesday night on drug and gun charges. Monterey County Sheriff’s Deputies pulled over a vehicle on Boronda Road shortly before 10:30 p.m. One of the car’s two occupants was out of custody on bail for robbery charges. A search of the vehicle recovered Xanax pills and a loaded firearm. Both suspects were arrested and booked into county jail. (S.G.)
