(07:55) Santa Cruz – A man has been arrested and charged for grand theft in Santa Cruz. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Investigators reported that Grant Peuse had clients invest large amounts of cash into his auto restoration business, GMP Speed & Machine. Peuse told his clients he would build or purchase cars for them. During the investigation deputies learned that tens of thousands of dollars Peuse received from clients, was being spent on other things. Peuse was arrested yesterday and charged with five counts of grand theft, theft from an elder, money laundering, forgery, and having automatic machine guns.
