(07:07) CAPITOLA – A Watsonville man was arrested in Capitola Tuesday afternoon on various charges, including possession of stolen property. The incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. on Capitola Road near 46th Avenue. Police spotted 19-year-old Victor Chavez driving two female juveniles in a car that had been reported stolen. Officers pulled over and arrested Chavez and his two passengers. A search of the vehicle recovered a loaded gun that had been stolen out of Vallejo. Chavez was also apprehended on Sunday for possession of an unloaded firearm and resisting arrest. Following the second incident, Chavez was booked into jail with no bail. (S.G.)
