(07:01) SALINAS – A man was injured in a drive-by shooting in Salinas Monday. The 30-year-old victim was reportedly shot in the back while sitting in his car on the 1500 block of 1st Avenue. The shooter then drove off in a red or orange Chevrolet Tahoe with chrome rims. A toddler and a 10-year-old girl were in the victim’s vehicle at the time of the shooting. Both were uninjured. The man was transported to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The incident is under investigation. (S.G.)
