(06:45) Monterey – Save Our Shores and Surfrider Monterey are teaming up to support the Coastal Commission’s proposed settlement to remove the illegal sand mining plant in Marina. A rally will be held this morning to encourage the 12 commissioners to end erosion on the Monterey Bay shores. The rally will be at 10:00 a.m. at the California State University Monterey Bay, located at 5260 Sixth Avenue in Seaside.
