(18:02) NEAR SALINAS – 2 of the guns stolen from Salinas police officers have been recovered. The 2 were stolen during a rash of burglaries last spring in the Toro Park and Las Palmas areas near Salinas. During the investigation of the thefts, 10 search warrants were served, and 19 felony arrests were made. 9 handguns, 6 shotguns, 5 illegally-possessed rifles, large amounts of cash, and illegal drugs were seized. One of the semi-automatic rifles recovered was the one taken from Salinas Police Chief Kelly Mcmillin’s car.
