July 13, 2015: Swimming Advisories for Lagoons and Streams in Santa Cruz County

(08:51) SANTA CRUZ COUNTY – A swimming advisory has been lifted at a Santa Cruz Beach. Bacteria levels at Main Beach have been deemed safe for human contact. Meanwhile, county health officials are reminding the public that urban lagoons and stream discharges have unsafe levels of bacteria. These locations include the mouth of the San Lorenzo River, Schwan Lake at Twin Lakes Beach, and Porter Gulch at New Brighton Beach. (S.G.)
