July 13, 2015: One Arrested, One Sought in Seaside Armed Robbery

(07:44) SEASIDE – A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Seaside. The incident occurred last month at Papa Chevo’s Restaurant on Fremont Boulevard. Following an investigation, officers identified two suspects, 21-year-old Steven Gary Shortt and 39-year-old Jack Vinson Perry. Shortt was apprehended and booked into county jail on Friday. Police are still seeking Perry. He has been described as Caucasian and around 6-foot-1 with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes. He has several tattoos, including “Seaside” on his abdomen and a skull on his chest. Anyone with information is to contact Seaside police. (S.G.)
