(06:41) SALINAS – A Salinas teenager was injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. at the intersection of Ranchero and Las Casitas drives. Officials say the 15-year-old was riding his bicycle through the intersection when he was hit by a Honda being driven by a 21-year-old woman. The teenager was transported to Natividad Medical Center with head injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver remained at the scene and has been cooperative with investigators. (S.G.)
