(07:47) CARMEL – A Carmel art gallery has reopened, after being closed down for more than year following a fire. In June of last year, a fire broke out in the back of the New Masters Gallery on Dolores Street. The blaze destroyed the business and damaged nearly 2,000 paintings. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. To mark the gallery’s grand reopening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the business on Friday. (S.G.)
