(10:46) SALINAS- Salinas enforcement officers arrested a suspected methamphetamine dealer on Saturday. Shortly before 1 a.m. police served an arrest warrant for 33 year old Jose Perez on the 1100 block of Parkside Street. The warrant had been issued after Perez failed to appear in court on possession of methamphetamine for sales charges. Perez was taken into custody and officers seized an ounce of meth, falsified identification, and 850 dollars in cash during a search of his vehicle. Perez was booked into county jail.
