A Salinas teen, who was featured in a P.B.S. documentary when he was in 3rd grade, has now been accepted to U.C. Berkeley. The film documented some of what Jose Anzaldo was going through as an undocument ed child in the elementary school system, and some of the hardships he went through growing up in East Salinas. Anzaldo, who reportedly has a very high grade point aver age, said even as a child that he wanted to attend U.C. Berkeley.
