A member of a multi-generational Salinas Valley agricultural family, and a political candidate, has died. 61 year-old Jeff Taylor died last week with his family at his side. Taylor worked in the family business before starting several other area companies, and also running against Sam Farr for office several times. Jeffrey Edward Taylor is survived by his mother Joanne, brothers Steve and Bruce (who head-up the Taylor Farms company), and sister Carrie, along with Jeff’s wife Paula and children Morgan, Brett and Garrett. A Celebration Of Life will be held sometime this spring at the Gabilan Ranch in Salinas Valley. Donations can be made to Young Life Salinas Valley, located at 325 Lang Street in Salinas.
