(20:36) MONTEREY – Officials with the city of Monterey have offered a challenge to other Monterey Peninsula Cities. They’ve pledged 28 thousand dollars, and if other cities on the Monterey Peninsula join in, Monterey will pledge another 28-thousand dollars. Each city that wants to be included needs to put in 1 dollar per person, for every person in their city. The money would be used to create a “warming shelter” on the peninsula.
