(04:54) SALINAS – No one was hurt in the 2nd shooting in Salinas this year. That incident occurred just before 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning on the 700 block of University Avenue. When Salinas police officers investigated the shooting, they found bullet holes in the house, with a live grenade underneath them. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad was called to the scene and they detonated the grenade on-site.
