(07:16) Los Gatos – A manhunt for a Scotts Valley bank robbery suspect gridlocked commuter roadways yesterday (Thursday). The incident began when the 10 a.m. armed robbery turned into a car chase with an exchange of gunfire on Highway 17. The Highway was closed at 11 a-m while a manhunt was underway in the Redwood Estates area. All lanes on Highway 17 have been reopened as of 8:30 last night. The suspect was last seen last night (Thursday) in the Los Gatos area WEARING a teal colored t-shirt, green beanie, dark pants, and black and white shoes.
